Selling O Guage Trains Layout and Track

Do you have any advice for selling O Gauge trains and track?

We’ve received this enquiry:

My late husband had an O Gauge layout in our garden, since, I have had it taken to pieces as i could not look after it. Could you possibly let me know the best way to go about selling selling the train and track that was not used?

    Try contacting a model rail club. They are normally enthusiasts and trusting.
    My friend and I run a O gauge club in the South East and have just finished selling a collection for a past member.
    I must warn you that selling Track is not easy…in the end, you normally give it away for pennies.
    I do know of a few people scattered around the country that may also be of help to you.
